What your dollars will do for the students of Pakistan:
- $50 Provides 50 books to students in Pakistan
- $100 Purchases 100 books for students in Pakistan
- $250 Builds a rural library for a primary school
- $500 Creates a rural library for a secondary school
- $750 Constructs one library for a high school
RI believes in helping the local community grow from our presence on the ground. More than 90% of the school supplies, teachers and raw materials for the creation of these libraries are Pakistan based.
The Pakistan Libraries Program is a project of Relief International (RI). RI is a non-profit humanitarian agency that provides emergency relief, rehabilitation, and development assistance and program services to vulnerable communities worldwide. RI focuses on bridging emergency relief to development through transitional and cross-sectoral and integrated programs including education, health, shelter, community development, agriculture, food, income-generation and peace & tolerance promotion. RI is solely dedicated to reducing human suffering and is non-political and non-sectarian in its mission. RI was established in 1990, is based in Los Angeles, California and has offices worldwide.
